Death of a Salesman

Matthew Warchus and I met at Bristol Old Vic, where he’d come to work after leaving university. It was evident from his National Youth Theatre production of Coriolanus that he was an enormously talented director, so I hoped very much that he’d ask me to write some music for him one day. This production of Death of a Salesman at West Yorkshire Playhouse was the first of what turned out to be many collaborations.
My inspiring colleagues on the production team were Rae Smith (design), Paule Constable (lighting) and Mic Pool (sound).
