Academy Award-winner Rachel Portman is an accomplished composer, having written the scores to The Cider House Rules, Chocolat, Never Let Me Go and One Day. We’re thrilled to have her along to talk about her Oscar-winning score for Emma, alongside her other achievements in composition.
Adapted from Jane Austen’s evergreen novel, this delightfully comic tale follows the romantic trials of one Emma Woodhouse (Gwyneth Paltrow) as she navigates the various foibles of the society personalities around her to matchmake the perfect couples. But will she realise in time the feelings of one Mr Knightley (Jeremy Northam).
