This screening will be followed by the first in a series of discussions hosted by Oscar nominated composer Gary Yershon. Gary’s guest will be the Oscar winning composer of Atonement Dario Marianelli.
Atonement’s unusual structure offered up a challenge to which Dario rose spectacularly. The result was an Oscar winning score which remains unique in the annals of cinema music, in being both sweepingly romantic and formally innovative. Gary and Dario will discuss how this remarkable achievement came into being.
